Three Uganda National team Women's Cricket team players captain Consy Aweko, Janet Mbabazi and Sarah Akiteng have been on the 2022 Women's Criczone Team of the Year. The trio starred in Uganda's tours to Namibia, Nepal, Kwibuka in Rwanda and the Kenya Quadrangular Series where they finished winners. Akiteng who debuted on the team this year also amassed the third most number of wickets in T20I in the whole world this year.
