BUL Football Club has signed Samuel Kayongo Ssekamatte from Arua Hill. The 29-year-old forward joins the Eastern Giants on a two-year contract. “Sam is a good striker who can score goals, create chances and he is the right player we can sign now. “He will absolutely add something to the team and I believe he will do the job but I will not put pressure on him,” head coach Alex Isabirye said. Ssekamatte started his playing career at Masaka LC and later played for SC Victoria University and KCCA FC as well as the Red Arrows of Zambia. He scored five goals and contributed seven assists during his one-and-a-half-year stint at Arua Hill. “I believe in the project and I have a good relationship with the coaches here. I want to contribute as much as possible to the expectations of the coaches and the club. “BUL competed in the Confederations Cup this season and I want to work hard to get this club back to the continent,” Ssekamatte said.
