Vipers Sports Club has taken a 17-man squad to Mali for their last Group C game of the CAF Champions League with Guinea outfit Horoya Athletic Club on Friday. Striker Yunus Sentamu misses out nursing an injury while the trio of Livingstone Mulondo, Siraje Sentamu and Fabien Mutombora are still with their respective national teams and won’t be involved. Milton Karisa and Marvin Joseph Youngman are still out as they recover from a hamstring and ankle problem respectively. Vipers are bottom of the group with two points and will be playing for pride as Raja Casablanca and Simba SC have already qualified to knockout. Vipers and Horoya played out a goalless draw in the first meeting at St. Mary's Stadium in Kitende. The Venoms go into this fixture on the back of a 1-1 draw with Raja while Horoya were beaten 7-0 by Simba. Head coach Alex Isabirye, handling his second continental game at the club, will be hoping to finish the on a high.
