Express FC has switched attention to the Uganda Premier League as they host Busoga United at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku today. The duel follows Express' exit from the Uganda Cup following a 2-0 defeat to Adjumani Town Council at Paridi playground. Express FC head coach James Odoch has revealed the target going forward and rallied the boys to give their best so that they return to winning ways. “We have set a target of finishing in the top four. But that can only be achieved if we keep winning,” Odoch was quoted by the club's official website. “We return our focus to the league and we have to do all it takes to see that we can improve. We understand the opponent will stage a resistance because they have a winning run but we are ready for a battle,” he added. “We are blessed to be positions above them and that avails an opportunity that we don't lose then we shall extend further ahead of them,” he concluded. In the first leg, Allan Kayiwa gave the Red Eagles the lead through a free kick but the game ended prematurely after fans staged a protest. However, Express was awarded three points and three goals to claim maximum points. Express sits 10th on the log with 25 points while Busoga United is 13th with three points less.
