Uganda Premier League side KCCA FC has acquired the services of goalkeeper Mutwalibu Mugolofa in the current transfer window.

Mutwalibu has put pen to a short-term contract that will see him play for the club until the end of the season.

The confirmation of the signing was made on Tuesday, January 30 via the club’s official website.

“Mutwalibu Mugolofa has penned a contract with KCCA FC until the end of the 2023-24 season,” the statement partly reads.

The goalkeeper is the first signing for the club in the mid-season transfer window that has not witnessed several movements across the league.

While speaking to the KCCA media, Mutwalibu expressed his gratitude to join the club and added that it offers a rare chance to compete with the best.

“I am happy to be here. I set goals for myself and part of those were to get back to my very best. KCCA FC offers me an opportunity and I have come here to compete with other good goalkeepers at the club,” he was quoted by the club’s website.

“I am pleased with the philosophy at the club and I cannot wait to get started when the second round resumes,” he added.

Mutwalibu has previously played Vipers SC, Mbarara City and Jinja North. KCCA will return to action on Friday, February 2 as they take on BUL
