FUFA President Moses Hassim Magogo has tipped former Uganda Cranes midfielder Ibrahim Sadam to have a brighter career as a coach than a player.

It's a common phrase among the football world that former midfielders make great coaches and Magogo already has lots of hope in Sadam.

“Sadam has demonstrated to me that he will make a good coach than a player,” Magogo revealed via his Twitter account.

“I have always thought Sadam was such a brilliant player who hardly ever lived up to even 30% of his potential,” the FUFA President further revealed.

Saddam Juma is one of the graduates of the CAF C license and after his achievement, he later joined the Juventas’ Academy in Nanjing, China.

The former Vipers, KCCA and SC Villa star attributes the bold move to join coaching as one rooted from the former tactician of the Jogoo Petros Koukouras.

Magogo added that Sadam has immense knowledge of the modern game hence making him a unique person whose services are so much needed.

“There are not many football players that sportingly understand the modern game. He is just one of the few. It’s until he reached out to me for a few days ago that realised his other qualities.”

Magogo further revealed that FUFA will support and avail former players like Sadam of opportunities to grow.

The Budiope legislator’s team Kampala Queens recently announced Tonny Mawejje (a former player) as their assistant coach.
