Ahimbisibwe is one of the players who reported to Nob View Hotel today for a residential camp.
With nine goals in 13 games, Ahimbisibwe is ready to shine for Uganda Cranes CHAN Team.
"Its been a long awaited opportunity and there are smiles all around as we focus on the tasks," Ahimbisibwe said.
"We are playing Burundi and we are well-prepared. By following the instructions from the coaches and working as a team, we are confident of achieving the best results," he added.
"The competition for positions is tough because everyone wants to impress the coach. As an individual, I'm doing my best to be considered for the squad."
The Cranes are eager to make a statement at home, buoyed by the backing of their fans and the knowledge that CHAN 2024 is more than just another tournament—it’s a platform to elevate Ugandan football.
As the match day approaches, all eyes are on the Cranes, who not only represent Uganda’s footballing ambitions but also its pride as hosts of CHAN 2024.
