Mbarara City shared spoils with Wakiso Giants a goalless draw at Kakyeka Stadium, Mbarara on Monday evening.

The game started on an even note as neither side had control of the game in the opening 15 minutes.

Mbarara City had a chance to break the deadlock in the 33^rd minute but Henry Kitegenyi failed to tap into an empty net.

The hosts were slightly the better side in the opening stanza but failed to guide the ball in the back of the net.

At the beginning of the second half, Wakiso Giants introduced Timothy Oyamo for Samuel Nubuga as the visitors tightened their backline.

Five minutes into the second stanza, Mbarara City made a double change introducing Hassan Alidro and Yusuf Makutum for Kiegenyi and Joseph Kafumbe.

Despite the fight from either side none could break the deadlock in the 90 minutes of end-to-end action.

After sharing points, Mbarara City lie 12th with 14 points while Wakiso Giants are 14 with 10 points in 13 games.
