BUL FC Junior Team clinched the FUFA Juniors League U-17 National Championships of the 2022-23 campaign.

The mark was reached after they beat Friends of Soccer 4-0 to create the much-required edge passed second placed Vipers SC Junior Team.

In the final game of the day, Vipers JT needed a win against Prosper so as to walk away with the gong but the latter was so tight at the back.

On the previous day, Vipers JT beat BUL 1-0 to take the summit of the log sending BUL into the third position before a sharp turn of events on the final day.

Swabir Mpasa and Umar Waiswa scored for BUL JT in the first half hence setting the tone for the Eastern Regional representatives.

Yakin Masambo and Richard Okello placed their names on the scoresheet later on in the second stanza to put the icing on the cane of the party.
