Goalkeeper Simon Tamale staged yet another stunning show as Rayon Sport found its place in the finals.

In normal time, Rayon Sport and AS Kigali played to a two-all draw in the semifinals of the RNIT Savings Cup at Ngoma Stadium.

Just after the kickoff whistle, Eid Abakar Mugadam opened the scoring for AS Kigali.

With five minutes to conclude the first stanza, Jean Bosco Akayesu levelled matters.

In the 75th minute, Aime Ntirushwa gave AS Kigali the lead for the first time in the game.

At the death of the game, Eid Abakar Mugadam set up Musa Esenu who scored a late equalizer to send the match into penalties.

Tamale came off the bench to replace Bonheur Hategekimana so as to handle the assignment of penalties.

Rayon Sports will play Kiyovu in the final having ousted Etoile de I’Est on penalties after a one-all draw.
