Uganda Premier League side URA Football Club has finally named Uganda Cranes legend David Obua as their head coach.
The development was revealed to the public on Thursday, November 2 via the club's official social media platforms.
"We are delighted to announce the appointment of David Obua as new head coach on a one-year employment contract," the statement partly read.
Obua takes the mantle from Fred Muhumuza who emerged in the role on an interim basis.
Muhumuza took over office after Sam Timbe's sudden passing away in August this year.
In the six games played this season, URA FC has won twice, drawn thrice and lost once in their previous outing.
After the technical bench shake-up, Muhumuza will drop in the hierarchy thus becoming the second assistant coach.
The other members of the coaching staff are Peter Byaruhanga Adyeri (1st assistant coach), Robert Mukada (3rd assistant coach), Bryon Okuba (strength and conditioning coach) and Ilic Milos (fitness coach).
