Kampala Old Boys (KOBs) have won the opening circuit of the 2021 Guinness National Rugby Sevens.

The KOBs edged Black Pirates 21-17 at Legends Rugby Ground to win Mileke Sevens on Sunday, 3rd October.

Tries from Adrian Kasito, Byron Oketayot, and Alhaj Manano all converted by the circuit Most Valuable Player Joseph Aredo handed KOBs victory in the opening circuit.

Isaac Massa, Desire Ayera, and Kelvin Balagadde scored for the Sea Robbers with Timothy Kisiga converting Ayera's try.

Pirates were Mileke Sevens Runners-up

Meanwhile, Heathens beat Buffaloes 14-12 to take 3rd place.

This year's Mileke Sevens was played to honour the legends of the game along the theme "Legends Live Among Us”.

The Mileke family, Late Henry Rujumba, Late Edward Kitaka, Robert Seguya, Helen Buteme, the Mudoola family, and Allan Musoke were honoured for their contribution to the game.
