The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (Fufa) has suspended Onduparaka FC player Rashid Okocha until 18th December

Okocha's suspension arises from his behavior during the Caterpillars' 2-1 loss to SC Villa in the league last week.

"FUFA Competitions Disciplinary Panel has suspended Onduparaka FC player Rashid Okocha from all football activities effective 30th November 2021 until 18th December 2021 for violating FUFA Competitions Rules and Regulations Article 31(2) and 31 (3).

"Okocha was seen playing in a violent manner towards an opponent, attacked the referee & delayed to get out of the field after being shown a red card in the match against SC Villa.

"He has also been fined UGX 500,000 to be paid by 18th December 2021," a statement from the Competitions Disciplinary Panel of the federation reads.

The defender will thus miss league matches starting with this afternoon's clash against Express at the Greenlight Stadium. He will also miss matches against Wakiso Giants, Mbarara City, and URA.
