Ugandan striker Hamis 'Diego' Kiiza has joined Kagera Sugar Football Club.

Kiiza joins the Tanzania Premier League side on a two-year deal, the Wankurukumbi announced on Tuesday.

The former Uganda Cranes star has been turning out for Proline Football Club in the Fufa Big League.

It is not the first time Kiiza will be playing in Tanzania having featured for giants Simba SC and Young Africans Football Club in the past.

Locally, Kizza has played for URA, Vipers, and most recently Proline.

The veteran forward could make his debut at the club on 26th January when Kagera Sugar hosts Simba at Kaitaba Stadium.
