Power Basketball Club bounced back from the loss to City Oilers with a 68-59 win over Ndejje University Angels on Sunday evening at the MTN Arena in Lugogo. It was a closely contested game against Ndejje as Power led by just 3 points heading into the final quarter. They capitalised on a 9-3 run in the final bend to close out the game. Samad Imran led Power (2-1) with a double-double of 16 points and 14 rebounds while Isaac Afidra who played all forty minutes contributed eight points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists. Elvis Mutebi had 11 points, Elvis Ssentongo added 10 points and 8 assists while Yat Tiem Ruot Tut scored nine points and 11 rebounds. James Obrack (16), Jonathan Oketch (12) and Joseph Kumbai (11) scored in double digits for the Angels (2-1) who suffered their first loss of the season. Sunday Results
