  • Wakiso Giants vs BUL FC
Wakiso Giants will take on BUL in the Uganda Premier League at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium as matchday 26 gets underway. However, the two sides will be desperate for victory having lost their leads in the previous games hence settling for a point each. The Purple Sharks and BUL were decent sides in the first round and often knocked on the door to be part of the title contention but since the start of the second round, they have run out of steam. BUL head coach Simeon Masaba is optimistic that their hard times are to be concluded and they are going to get their first win of the second round. “I think we can regroup well and get the first win of the second round,” Masaba told the club media. “Everything is possible in today’s game. They are playing from home but they are also struggling a little bit and I think we can utilise that and bring our sorrowful chapter to an end,” he added. “Goals have started coming but our remaining task is now to see how we can defend well and get the wins falling in.” [caption id="attachment_11680" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Simeon Masaba[/caption] According to the gaffer, they have tried to correct mistakes and will only rally his troops to defend better. Since the restart of the campaign, the oil manufacturers have played nine games, among which they have held five draws and lost four games. However, the Purple Sharks have played 10 games in the second round. In those, they have registered six losses, three draws and a win. BUL lie seventh on the log with 32 points while Wakiso Giants are eighth with a point less having played a game more.
