The Cricket Cranes have arrived in South Africa ahead of their participation in the 2022 Africa T20 Cup in Benoni.

Joseph Baguma, Munir Ismail, and Pascal Murungi traveled with the team and will most likely make their debuts on the side.

Alpesh Ramjani a left-arm spin and top-order batter who has been in prolific form this season for Aziz Damani is also part of the side.

Brian Masaba also returns from a finger injury to lead the side and he will be deputized by Deus Muhumuza.

Uganda is pitted in Group A alongside Botswana, Ghana, and Mozambique and they will start the campaign against Botswana.

The top two sides will qualify for the semifinals and the tournament will conclude with a final. Group B has Kenya, Cameron, Nigeria, and Malawi.
