The Uganda National Women’s Cricket team defeated Kenya to open their 2022 Quadrangular Series expedition on a high.
The Victoria Pearls won by 8 wickets to revenge on their painful loss to the same side during the Kwibuka T20 tournament earlier this year.
Evelyn Anyipo and Sarah Akiteng picked a wicket each for their two overs in the game that was played for 10 due to a rain delay and wet-outfield.
Kevin Awino and Proscovia Alako delivered with the bat, combining for a 40-run partnership before the latter lost her wicket during the 7 over.
Stephanie Nampiina and Immaculate Nakisuyi marked their returns after a long spell out due to disciplinary committee punishments.
