Arua Hill SC will host Vipers SC in a mouth-watering Uganda Premier League clash at Barifa Stadium on Tuesday.

Arua Hill SC has won two of its last outings beating SC Villa last Wednesday before they took care of Gaddafi FC on Saturday amidst financial challenges.

On the other hand, the Venoms dropped two points in a 1-1 stalemate against URA as they missed the chance to reduce the deficit in their chase for the log summit.

Vipers head coach Alex Isabirye is sure of the task ahead and how tough it will be but he reveals his troops are ready to go for it.

“It’s a massive game for us. It’s always difficult playing Arua Hill away but we must go for it,” Isabirye was quoted by the club’s official website.

“We know the task ahead of us. Arua Hill are a well-organised team, their level of defending is extremely high and they are good at counter-attacking,” he added.

Isabirye is well-informed about the host’s form but he believes they will get a way to hurt them.

“Arua Hill is in a good moment, they beat Villa away from home before they beat Gaddafi over the weekend. So they are now confident and strong but we shall find a way of hurting them.”

In the reverse fixture, the Vipers beat Arua Hill 1-0 thanks to Milton Karisa’s strike in the first round. However last season, Arua Hill won last year’s duel at Barifa with Alfred Leku’s effort.

Both sides have been troubled by injuries but the Kitende-based side will be glad to receive Karim Watambala and Bright Anukani who return from the sick bay.

Vipers are third with 36 points while Arua Hill is fifth with three points less though having played two games more.

Ugandan footballer Bevis Mugabi plying his trade from Scotland in the Scottish Premiership from Motherwell FC has been ranked among one of the highest jumpers in history.

Mugabi, 25, jumped an inch higher – at 8ft 6in off the ground – to score in the Scottish Premiership clash at Ross County in February, two years ago.

With the game evenly poised at 1-1 and just 20 minutes to play, the Ugandan ace rose highest to power home a header. The sensational display of leaping ability snatched all three points for Motherwell.

Mugabi is ranked 3rd after Youssef En-Nesyri’s leap in their Portugal’s encounter against Morocco in the Qatar World Cup.

Cristiano Ronaldo is listed first, an occasion that happened in the first leg of a round of 16 Champions League match between Real Madrid and Manchester United in 2013.

Victor Osimhen, Fikayo Tomori, and Zlatan Ibrahimović are also given honourable mentions.

Mugabi received his first call-up to the Uganda national team for their friendly against Kenya in August 2016.
