SC Villa edged ten-man Arua Hill one-nil in a StarTimes Uganda Premier League game played at the Barifa Stadium in Arua on Saturday.

Charles Bbale’s scored the solitary goal from the spot in the 49th minute after Arua Hill’s left-back Richard Matovu handled the ball in the area and was shown marching orders.

It is a huge result for Villa, who were recently docked two points and two goals due to fans’ hooliganism during their game against Wakiso Giants. They now move to 14 points and fourth position after 8 games.

Meanwhile, Arua Hill suffered a third straight defeat. They now remain in the 7th position with 10 points.

Arua Hill dominated the opening exchanges and they missed a couple of chances before the break. Gaddafi Wahab, Rashid Kawawa, Ivan Eyam, and Richard Matovu all had chances at goal in the opening half.
