Uganda Kobs head coach Morley Byekwaso has rued missed chances in the national team’s goalless draw with DR Congo in the Cecafa Cup.

Speaking after the match, Byekwaso felt there were positives and negatives; “It was a tough game against a very good aggressive side.

“But we played well especially in the first half but were only let down by our forwards not being effective. In the second half, the game was so balanced and I think it was a fair game,” he added.

Kobs were forced into an early change with Steven Sserwadda stretchered off for Bright Anukani who along with other subs Sam Ssenyonjo, and Najib Yiga as well as Abdallah Salim, and Sadam Masereka made no impact on the game.

Mpia Nzengeli Maxi, Beya Tumuteka Joel slipped and Ikanga Lombo had half chance for DR Congo.
