Charles ‘Kadidi’ Ssenyange has departed from FUFA Women Super League side Kampala Queens.
The development was confirmed through a document released on Saturday, December 23, 2023.
“Kampala Queens has agreed with the head coach Mr Samuel Charles Ssenyange Nsaziro to end his service with immediate effect,” the statement reads.

Ssenyange replaced Hamza Lutalo who had previously won the recently concluded FWSL title.
Kampala Queens’ reshuffle will see Ssenyange’s technical team relieved from duty apart from assistant coach Tonny Mawejje, team doctor Ronald Mutebi and camp manager Cissy Nakiguba.
Reports indicate that Ssenyange will be replaced with Charles Ayiekoh who also doubles as Crested Crested assistant head coach.
Kampala Queens return to action in January and their assignment will be against Kawempe Muslim.

BUL FC registered a 3-2 victory against Vipers SC in the Uganda Premier League at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende on Friday evening.
In the game played under the floodlights, Vipers suffered a league home loss for the first time after 31 games after nearly two years.
The game pulled a tremendous crowd that was yearning to watch the night action of two good sides that were fighting for the top spot on the log.
Nicholas Mwerere BUL in the lead in the seventh minute. Vipers’ backline failed to clear the ball and the lanky defender’s touch sailed into the net.
Vipers kept knocking on the door looking for a leveller but BUL’s backline stood tall and firm.
Lawrence Tezikya doubled BUL’s lead with a great finish. The forward won possession after Livingstone Mulondo slipped at the edge of the box, he later rounded off goalkeeper Fabien Mutombora before shooting into the net.
Yunus Ssentamu pulled back one for the hosts six minutes into the second half. The forward passed through a forest of legs before he curled home the ball past the custodian Thomas Ikara.
Ibrahim Mugulusi restored BUL’s two-goal lead with a powerful effort. The attacking midfielder fired home after being set up by Alex Kitata who was also brought on in the second half.
Salim Ekbad nodded home to reduce the deficit to one with nine minutes left on the clock. Salim jumped highest to connect well with Patrick Mbowa’s cross into the area.
Ikara pulled off a stunning save to deny Bright Anukani whose free-kick nearly went past the frame.
The victory kept BUL on the summit of the log with 29 points while Vipers SC are second with 24 points after playing 12 games.

KCCA FC registered a 2-1 victory against SC Villa in the Uganda Premier League at Muteesa II Stadium on Friday, December 22, 2023.
The Kasasiro Boys finally picked maximum points on the road for the first time having lost four and drawn once in the earlier five games away from home.
Etienne Katenga fired the visitors into the lead after 15 minutes. The Angolan forward’s well-curled effort fueled energy in the crowd that was in party mood.
Ashraf ‘Fadiga’ doubled the lead in the 19th minute. The attacking forward was in the right position to guide home Filbert Obenchan’s attempt on goal.
Charles Lwanga pulled back one for the hosts in the 31st minute. Lwanga jumped highest to node home Ivan Bogele’s corner kick.
Three minutes later, Hakim Kiwanuka failed to score with only a goalkeeper to beat Kiwanuka
Villa put to waste a clear goal chance after Kiwanuka beat Mustafa Mujuzi to pace but his touch sailed wide of the frame.
At the start of the second half, Dominic Ayella replaced Muhammad Shaban for KCCA while Abasi Kyeyune and Joseph Kafumbe replaced
Mugume witnessed his free kick bounce off the ball. SC Villa Arnold Odong fouled Usama Arafat at the edge of the box and the referee awarded KCCA a freekick but the resultant effort went off the frame.
In the 68th minute, Filbert Obenchan laid in a darling cross but Mugume’s header went narrowly above the frame. The hosts responded on the other hand but Derrick Ochan firmly collected Kyeyune’s header.
The victory moved KCCA to the 10th position with 13 points while SC Villa is sixth with 19 points after playing 12 games.
Next on the menu, KCCA will visit UPDF on Thursday, December 23 while SC Villa will face Wakiso Giants on Saturday, December 30.
Uganda Premier League | Results
Express FC ended their poor run with a 5-2 victory against NEC FC in the Uganda Premier League at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo on Thursday evening.
In the game player under floodlights, Express brought the seven-game run without a win to an end after a seven-goal thriller.
Cromwell Rwothomio placed the hosts in the driving seat but Express levelled matters 14 minutes later through Isaac Wagoina. NEC’s custodian Ismael Maganda failed to get hold of Emmanuel Wasswa’s free-kick before the forward tapped home.
Wasswa got his name onto the score sheet with a great finish at the near post to finally give Express the lead.
With three minutes to play in the first half, Express was awarded a penalty. Wagoina stood up and converted from the spot to extend Express’s lead in style.
The second-half start was not far from how Express showed up in the last minutes of the first half. Express kept throwing bodies upfront and hardly gave NEC’s backline any room to breathe.
Steven Senfuma extended Express’s lead in the 78th minute. The forward tapped home Eddie Ssebandeke’s cutback who made a thrilling delivery.
Wasswa yet again scored to cement and Express’ lead on the day. The hardworking midfielder converted from the 12-yard mark to make it 5-1.
With four minutes to play, defender Andrew Kaggwa scored into his net to add to the hosts’ tally.
After the victory, Express is now eighth on the log with 16 points while NEC is fifth on the log with 20 points after playing 12 games.
Busoga United held URA FC after a 2-2 draw in the Uganda Premier League at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru on Thursday.
The visitors thought they had taken an early lead in the third minute but Bruno Bunyaga’s goal was ruled out due to an offside.
Three minutes later, forward Bunyaga was denied again by Busoga United goalkeeper Micheal Lutaya in a stellar save.
Hussein Sajjabi gave the hosts the lead in the 13th minute. URA custodian Rogers Omedi gave Busoga United an easy goal after palming the ball into play and the hosts took it away.
Three minutes later, Emmanuel Ajo doubled Busoga United’s lead to send the crowd into jubilation. The forward pressed Eric Ssenjobe who was put into play by goalkeeper Omedwa and the ball rolled into an empty net.
However, URA had a sprinted and bright second half as they fought their way back into the game.
Bunyaga pulled back one after guiding Joseph Ssemujju’s delivery into the back of the net.
Moses Aliro later restored parity for the Tax Collectors in the 82nd minute. The second-half substitute’s long-range effort forced its way into the net to bring back URA into the game.
After an entertaining second half, it was only a point each for the two sides to take home.
URA remains seventh on the log with 17 points while Busoga United is 11th on the log with 13 points after playing 12 games.
Uganda Premier League | Fixture
URA FC will travel to the beautiful city of Jinja to take on Busoga United in the Uganda Premier League at FUFA Technical Centre Njeru on Thursday evening.
In the previous games, URA put four past Arua Hill in the 4-1 victory while Busoga United lost 3-0 to Wakiso Giants. So as the two sides lock horns, URA will seek for a back-to-back victory while Busoga United will seek to return to winning ways.
In the pre-match conference, URA head coach David Obua revealed that he is patient and optimistic that his first victory away from home will surely come.
“I am not going to cook results. I am going to follow my process and all the results to systematically flow in. It’s a new style and the players will find some challenges so am patient and optimistic,” he said.
“The weather was good for us this week and we managed to utilise the width of the pitch. We have a number of injuries but some boys will come in and I hope they connect with the team,” he added.
“We are always optimistic and try to prepare to the best physically and mentally. I had time to do certain things and I hope they can come out as expected. I want to work with these young players am sure they will prove their worth.”
URA FC are seventh on the log with 16 points while Busoga United are 12th with 11 points after 11 games.

Express FC will be on the road to MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo to play against NEC FC in the Uganda Premier League.
The seven-time league champions kicked off the campaign on a great note not until they slipped off the right track. Failing to pick a victory in the last seven games.
The tough times led to the sacking of coach James Odoch but Alex Isabirye’s reign has not witnessed a victory after falling to SC Villa (2-1) and Kitara (1-0).
In the pre-match conference, head coach Isabirye revealed that his greatest test at the moment is to change the boys’ mentality to get better results.
“For now the focus has been to change the mindset and mentality of the players and we hope to have a better result against NEC FC,” he said.
“We need to stop the bad run. I know it will be a tough game but we have to work hard and register maximum points,” he added.
On the other hand, NEC FC has been tremendous at home picking great points against top sides. Only Gaddafi has managed to beat them at Lugogo.
NEC FC are in fifth position with 20 points while Express FC are eighth with 13 points gathered after playing 11 games into the ongoing campaign.

Mbarara City Football Club and Kitara Football Club played out to a goalless stalemate in the Uganda Premier League at Kakyeka Stadium on Wednesday evening.
The game attracted a lot of talk before kickoff due to a full host of players who were returning to their former club.
The tight encounter witnessed a worrying scenario after Mbarara City forward Seiri Arigumayo was taken to hospital after a nasty collision with Kitara’s custodian Chrispus Kusiima.
Kitara came into the game knowing that a victory would take them second on long with just just a point below the log leaders, BUL FC.
Brian Ssenyondo’s troops got several chances in front of the goal but their frontline failed to guide the ball past the goal line.
Jasper Aheebwa witnessed his powerful header bounce off the frame before the rebound was skied way above the upright.
Paul Mucureezi’s powerful effort was fully gripped by Mbarara’s custodian Hakim Nsaba who had a great day in office.
In the final minutes of the game, Jude Ssemugabi’s effort went off the bar as Kitara came close once again.
A point keeps Kitara in third position with 23 points while Mbarara City moves to ninth position with 13 points.

Arua Hill SC has had a tough run in the ongoing Uganda Premier League 2023/24 campaign.
The Kongolo will host Maroons SC at Paridi Stadium on Wednesday evening.
The duel gives Arua Hill SC a chance to pick maximum points and revive a league that seems to be going southwards.
Arua Hill SC has collected five points (a victory and two draws) in the 11 games played thus far.
All points gathered have come from home which gives them hope that they can get something positive from the game against Maroons.
Maroons captain David Ndihabwe and Joel Nasasira will be out to face their former paymasters.
Maroons will pray Fred Amaku stages his best to fire them ahead of the Leopards.
Maroons are sixth on the log with 19 points while Arua Hill SC are on the bottom of the log with five points after playing 11 games.

Kitara FC will be on the road to play Mbarara City in the Uganda Premier League at Kakyeka Stadium on Wednesday, December 20, 2023.
Kitara head coach Brian Ssenyondo finds himself in an emotional state meeting his former paymasters.
In a pre-match conference, he was grateful to Mbarara City for giving him a chance to coach in the UPL after joining from Synergy FC.
“They gave me my first opportunity to coach in the Premier League and I appreciate it,” Ssenyondo said.
“But am now with Kitara and would want to win here to take all three points. It’s a tough place to visit and it will be hard but we shall do all it takes to win,” he added.
A victory for Kitara will take them to 25 points leaving them a point behind log leaders BUL FC.
Kitara have not been good travellers and have lost both away games to Vipers (2-1) and BUL (2-1) something they will need to curb.
Mbarara City has lost once at home against NEC (1-0), shared spoils three times and won twice.
Vipers SC is third on the log with 22 points while Mbarara City is 10th with 12 points after playing 11 games.
