Kisenyi FC registered a 3-1 victory against Kaboowa Dream in the ongoing Futsal Super League at Old Kampala Futsal Arena.

Yusuf Baker, Abdullahi Abdulkarim and Dahir Ahmed scored in the first half as Kisenyi FC staged a commanding start.

Latif Nsamba pulled back one in the second half but it could not yield Kabowa Dream anything positive out of the game.

In the other encounter, Luzira thrashed Kawempe FC in a 9-2 victory against debutants Kawempe.

Edmond Bithum, Joshua Aziku, Arafat Ssentongo, and Damien Nakalema scored a brace each and Vicent Abigaba made it nine.

Kawempe FC who suffered their fourth loss of the campaign scored their two goals through Kenneth Ssekyanzi and Arafat Luwangula.

In another entertaining encounter, Kampala Junior Team (KJT) secured a well-deserved 4-2 victory against Aidenal.

Reagan Kimbugwe and Abdul Shakur Nsereko scored a brace each for KJT while Aidenial went down fighting with its two goals coming from Lameck Mwebaza.

The action continues today as Park FC take on Lubowa Grameen. Edgars Youth Programme will entertain Mengo City while Kisugu FC locks horns with Nansana ASKA.

The group stages draw for the fourth edition of the Futsal Uganda Cup (FUC) has been conducted.

The draw was during an online meeting organized by FAU Competitions director Abubakar Kalule and attended by all FUC participating clubs.

Group A has Luzira FC, Edgar’s Youth Program and Makerere University, while Kabowa Dream Team, ASKA, Friends of Football and First Touch Sports FC make Group B.

Kisenyi FC faces Mengo FC, Gods Glory and Pitch Pirates FC while 2022/23 Futsal Super League Champions Yeak Kabowa were placed in Group D alongside Park FC, Al Haramen FC and Motion Sports FC.

15 teams were placed into four separate groups of four teams and each team will play three games at the group stages phase to decide the two teams that will progress to the quarterfinals.

The four group winners and four runners-up will proceed to the knockout phase that culminates with the best of 3 final.

The winner of this competition will be awarded a trophy and medals but also get a chance to play in the Futsal Super Cup against the 2023/24 FSL Champion.
