KCCA aim to return to winning ways as they take on Mbale Heroes in the Uganda Premier League at the Mbale Municipal Stadium on Saturday.
Their last match ended in a goalless draw against UPDF, which put a halt to their impressive run.

“We still have a challenge of taking away the chances created. It’s been haunting us in previous games, and I think it was the difference against UPDF,” he said.

Allan Okello scored twice as Vipers edged Police 2-1 in the Uganda Premier League encounter at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende, on Friday.
Brian Obedi scored Police’s goal in the end-to-end encounter that pulled a mammoth crowd under the floodlights.
Okello gave the home side the lead in the eighth minute of the game.
Police’s custodian Edward Kasibante clumsily cleared the ball, thus placing it on Okello’s foot before the attacking midfielder placed it at the back of the net with the outside of his boot.
However, the visitors remained composed and found the deserving equaliser at the stroke of the first stanza through Obedi.
The forward beat his marker before he wrapped the ball with his feet guiding the ball in the top corner, and Vipers custodian Denis Kiggundu was totally beaten.
As the game seemed to drag towards a one-all draw, Okello once again regained Vipers’ lead with eight minutes to full-time.
Salem Ekbad’s effort bounced off the frame, and Okello was in a perfect place to tap into an empty net as Police’s backline looked on.
The victory takes Vipers on top of the log with 13 points while Police remain 10th with seven points after playing six games.

Two minutes into the game, Martin Aprem fired the visitors into the lead with a powerful effort from outside the box.

SC Villa and Maroons share spoils in a 1-1 draw in the Uganda Premier League encounter on Thursday evening at Prison Grounds, Luzira.

The visitors started on the front foot seeking an early opener in the game.
Owori broke the deadlock in the eighth minute with an excellently taken freekick.
The roving right-back curled the ball past goalkeeper Simon Tamale, whose touch failed to put away the ball.
In the 36th minute, SC Villa goalkeper Norman Angufidru made a thrilling save, punching away Bashir Mutanda’s effort.
Despite Maroons’ efforts, the visitors stood tall and held onto their lead into the halftime break.

Nunda came off the bench to restore Maroons’parity with a header inside of the far goalpost. Villa’s backline slept on the job, and the intelligent midfielder punished them.
However, Maroons suffered a big blow as Nnunda limped off the field of play after suffering an ankle injury.
