FUFA Women Super League defending champions Kampala Queens FC has officially announced Charles Sam ‘Kadidi’ Nsanziro Ssenyange as their head coach.

Kadidi will be the head coach of Kampala Queens until 2025 after signing a two-year employment contract.

Kadidi replaces Hamza Lutalo who guided the club to last year’s league title.

The confirmation comes in shortly after the gaffer was released by his former side KCCA FC where he was among the assistants of Morley Byekwaso and later Jackson Mayanja.

“Kampala Queens FC is delighted to announce the appointment of Nsanziro Sam Charles Ssenyange as head coach,” the statement via the club’s official website partly read.

“He is a CAF B licensed coach, played for KCCA for over seven years between 1988 and 1994,” the statement added.

Kadidi will be deputised by Tonny Mawejje as first assistant as well as Shafic Mutebi who will take up the role of second assistant.

During the unveiling, Kadidi preached teamwork noting it’s a foundation for success.

“With football, teamwork brings change when you are all in the same mind of the journey,” Ssenyange revealed.

“Moving forward it’s the results that matter a lot but you have to first work. Girls do not differ so much from boys football but it’s all about the mental strength and how you approach players,” he added.

Kampala Queens are preparing for CAF Women’s Champions Zonal Qualifiers CECAFA that will he held with the boarders from August 13 to 30.
