Uganda Cranes left back Mustafa Kizza has returned to KCCA Football Club for the third stint.

Kizza has been rewarded with a two-year employment contract that will keep him at the club until 2025.

He will don his favorite and signature shirt 12 which was earlier allocated to youngster Alex Yiga who has since moved abroad for trials.

In his maiden interview with the club, Kizza revealed that it’s his target to help the club go back to its glory days.

“I want to help the club to return to its glory days. The club is intent on achieving its objectives this year and I can not wait to get started with the lads,” he was quoted by the club’s official website.

“I feel happy to return home. I am happy that we made this happen. I thank the Coach, management, and everybody who has made this happen. This was a very easy decision for me to make,” he added.

Third stint at Lugogo

Kizza joined the club’s academy in 2015 and he graduated to the senior side in 2016. As part of the development scheme, he was sent on loan to Maroons where he proved he was ready for the big stage.

In January 2017, he was recalled by KCCA and the management awarded his a three-year and half-employment contract before going pro.

In the middle of the 2022/23 season, Kizza returned to Lugogo for the second stint on a six-month short-term deal before he left in July this year.

On Thursday, September 21, he made a deadline transfer deal returning to Lugogo sealing the third return of the roving left back to Lugogo.

Uganda Cranes left-back Mustafa Kizza has reportedly made a U-turn back to Arouca Football Club.

Kizza and the Portuguese side parted ways in December last but the two parties seem to have rekindled their partnership according to The SportsNation.

The roving left-back has been awarded a two-year employment contract that glues him to the club until 2025.

Kizza joined Arouca FC in 2022 after falling out with Montreal Impact which resulted in a contract termination.

Without a doubt, Kizza is a tried and proven player who has a lot of potential and deserves yet another chance on the professional stage.

Going back to Arouca FC means the two have ironed out the challenges that led to the earlier breakout hence having a better sight at things this time round.

The transfer gives Kizza a chance to regain his fitness level and confidence so that he can make a return to Uganda Cranes’ ranks.
