Arua Hill Sports Club has signed free agent Yusuf Sharif Saaka on a two-year deal.

The newly-promoted Uganda Premier League side completed the move on Thursday.

Saaka has spent the last five seasons at Kyetume Football Club before opting to leave following their relegation to the FUFA Big League.

“I have played all my life almost at Kyetume Football Club here in Uganda from the lower divisions, FUFA Big League and the Uganda Premier League.

"I want to continue playing in the top flight league,” Saaka revealed in a previous interview.

Saaka was Kyetume's top scorer with eight goals last season. He scored the goals against Kitara (home and away), Bright Stars, Vipers, Wakiso Giants as well as Malaba Youth Development Association (MYDA).

The revelation was destined for Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), Mbarara City, or Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces (UPDF) but he was swiftly taken off the market by Arua Hill.

Saaka joins with overseas experience after his brief spell in Seychelles at Lions Football Club in 2018-19.
