Express Football Club will be looking to win their first-ever Cecafa Kagame Cup when they take Nyasa Big Bullets final on Saturday.
The Red Eagles face the Malawian side for the second time at this year’s competition having played at the group stage, a tie that ended in a one-all draw.
Express will be playing in their third final of the Cecafa Kagame Cup, but the second in Tanzanian. Mukwano Gw'abangi is looking to break the jinx in the final having fallen short in 1994 and 1995.
The two sides (Express and Nyasa Big Bullets) head into the clash Benjamin Mkapa Stadium unbeaten in the competition.
“We’ve prepared well for the game, we played Big Bullets in the group stage so we have an idea about their style of play and like I’ve been saying, we want to win the Kagame Cup and we shall do everything possible on Saturday to win,” said Express coach Wasswa Bbosa ahead of the game.
Godfrey Lwesibawa is ruled out of the game with fever but the rest of the squad is fit for the game. Eric Kambale, George Senkaaba, Martin Kizza as well as Muzamir Mutyaba will lead Express' hunt for goals.
