Express Football Club has confirmed confirm that creative midfielder Muzamiru Mutyaba has left the club.

The attacking has joined Rwandan side Kiyovu Sports Club on a two-year deal after both clubs reached an agreement for the player’s transfer.

At Kiyovu, he teams up with Uganda Cranes captain Emmanuel Okwi who also joined the side recently.

Mutyaba joined the Red Eagles in January 2021 and helped guide the club to our first league title since 2012. He also played an instrumental role as the club won the CECAFA Kagame Cup for the first time ever, scoring thrice in the process.
