SC Villa came from a goal down to beat Onduparaka in a Premier League played at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru on Friday.
First-half goals from midfielder Abdallah Salim and Isaac Ogwang cancelled out Muhammad Shaban's opener for the Caterpillars who finished the game with a man less after Rashid Okocha was sent off for a second bookable offence.
Shaban put the visitors in the lead inside ten minutes with a powerful shot to beat Meddie Kibirige after being set up by Baden Mujahid.
Sadam Masereka missed a free header off Salim's well-weighted ball but the stylish midfielder later took matters into his own hands, playing a one-two with Travis Mutyaba outside the area before finding the top corner to beat Mathias Muwanga who was off his line to draw the 16-time Champions level.
The Joogos assumed total control of the game and Salim would later set up Ogwang for Villa's second that eventually turned out the match-winner.
At the start of the second half, Onduparaka were reduced to ten men with Okocha given marching orders for a foul on Mutyaba.
The mountain became steeper for the Caterpillars to climb but they nearly came close as Jarieko was denied by the crossbar.
The win took Villa's points tally to 7 but did not move a place from 13th coming into the match while defeat for Onduparaka left them static in 8th place with 8 points.
