The 2022 Busoga Masaza Cup second round kicked off over the weekend with six matches played at different grounds.

Twelve (12) goals were scored in the six games played.

Bukooli Namayingo had the biggest winning margin, beating Busiki three-nil at Namayingo Primary School Playground. Hassan Bidondole opened the scoring in the 7th minute while Iduuma Odenga bagged a second-half a brace.

At Buyende Primary School Playground, Budiope fell to visiting Buzaya 2-0 thanks to Geofrey Isoloza's double.

Kigulu edged Bunho Bunanumba 2-1 at the Iganga Ssaza Playground. Moses Kasule and Jamiru Mukungu were on target for the hosts while Samuel Napera's equalizer turned into a consolation.

At Hindocha Primary School Playground, Bukooli Bugiri edged visitors Bulamogi 2-1. Dasani Bwamiki cancelled James Innocent Matege's opener for Bukooli before Shabina Mugere found the winner for Bukooli Bugiri with 17 minutes left on the clock.

Rajab Waiswa was the hero for Bugabula as they edged Bukono 1-0 at Ivukula Sub-county Playground.

The match between Luuka and Bugweri played at Luuka District Headquarters Playground did not produce any goals.
