Uganda Premier League side URA Football Club has completed the signing of Joshua Lubwama Letti. The towering midfielder joins the Tax collectors from Wakiso Giants on a three-year deal. Lubwama expressed his delight after joining URA FC and understands the assignment. “I am happy to be join URA FC, it’s a dream come true as this is one of the biggest clubs in the country,” Lubwama said as quoted by the club website. “I am aware of the club’s position and one of my targets with the help of my teammates is to help the team get back to where they belong.” He becomes the first signing for URA FC in the January transfer window and the side will benefit from his versatility as he can also play as a defender. In the past, Lubwama featured for Luweero United, BUL FC and Ndejje University FC before joining Wakiso Giants. He has also been part of the Uganda National Beach Soccer team (Sand Cranes) set up that qualified for back-to-back AFCON Beach Soccer. Lubwama plays for St. Lawrence University Beach Soccer Club in the National Beach Soccer League.
