Former Uganda Cranes captain and goalkeeper Denis Masinde Onyango claimed his 10th South Africa Premier League title. This came after the lanky custodian was part of the mighty Mamelodi Sundowns who won their sixth successive title. Onyango has so far won 10 titles in South Africa, seven with Sundowns and three with his former paymasters SuperSport United. However, as the former Uganda Cranes shot-stopper and the custodian was celebrating his 10th, Sundowns will now count 13 league titles in their trophy store. The jubilations kicked off after the final whistle in the game where Sundowns shared spoils with Maritzburg United in a one-all draw. Mamelodi Sundowns lifting their 13th league title The 35-year-old forward Bradley Ralani gave the Brazilians a lead in the 24th minute before Joze Meza restored parity in the 71st minute. The stalemate took Sundaowns to 70 points, 19 clear of second-placed Orlando Pirates who are level at points with Super Sport but ahead of them by two goals on their account.
