Former Uganda Cranes captain Denis Onyango is ranked one of the highest-paid footballers in South Africa.
Onyango is the most decorated South Africa Premier League player with six titles to his name also having been voted the 2016 African-based African Player of the Year at the CAF Awards held in Nigeria.
Midfielder Bongani Zungu tops the list, earning R700,000 and he is the highest-paid player at Mamelodi Sundowns.
Ronwen Williams - a professional South African footballer and first-choice goalkeeper for Mamelodi Sundowns - follows suit, earning R500,000.
Onyango is third, despite the fact his contract expires soon. He is earning R450,000, having joined the club in 2014.
He has previously been affiliated with Bidvest Wits FC, Mpumalanga Black Aces, SuperSport United, Saint George and Villa FC.
Onyango made his international debut for Uganda on 18 June 2005 World Cup qualifying match against Cape Verde.
