Uganda Cranes lanky defender Gift Fred has officially been unveiled by Tanzania’s Young African SC.

The towering defender switches to Tanzania Premier League champions Yanga from 16-time Uganda. Premier League record champions SC Villa.

The development was made public via the club’s social media platforms in a glamorous as he donned the Yanga FC jersey before it clarified, “Gift is yellow and green.”

The free agent to pen on a three-year employment contract that will hold him at Tanzania’s giants until 2027.

The defender was outstanding in the previous season as he captained his youthful teammates to a photo finish as they claimed the third position, missing the trophy by a whisker.

A number of teams were chasing Gift’s signature but Tanzania’s outfit won the race hence scoping the highly-rated defender.

At Yanga, he will share the same dressing room with his countrymate Khalid Aucho.
