2023 FEASSA Games | Thursday, August 24

  • St Mary’s Kitende 3-0 Dagoretti H/S

St Mary’s Kitende registered a 3-0 victory against Dagoretti High School in the ongoing 2023 Federation of East Africa Secondary School Sports Association (FEASSSA) Games in Rwanda on Thursday.

Kitende’s goals were scored by Abubaker Walusimbi, Hakim Mutebi and Rogers Torach to give Uganda’s champions maximum points.

Uganda’s Kitende secured their third victory in the group to go up to 10 points in four matches played.

Kitende joins Kibuli who also come from Uganda and reigning champions who finished second in Group B.

The duo will join Amus College and St Henry’s Kitovu who qualified from group A. This means it will be Uganda’s affair in the semi-finals.

To reach that level, St. Henry’s Kitovu edged St. Anthony Secondary in a 3-2 victory at Kamena ground.

While Amus College School thumped Tanzania’s Kalangala in a 7-2 landslide win at Kamena.
