• Abu Salim 3-1 KCCA FC

KCCA FC suffered a 3-1 loss to Libya's Abu Salim in the CAF Confederation Cup in Tunisia on Sunday.

The Lugogo-based side finds themselves in big trouble after a huge loss which means they will have to work hard in the reverse leg if they are to go further.

The hosts took the lead in the 24th minute before they doubled ten minutes later from the spot kick.

After 45 minutes the Kasasiro Boys were trailing by two at Stade Rades.

Later in the 71st minute, Abu Salim found the third to compound KCCA's misery.

Five minutes later Abu Mayanja pulled back one for the visitors.

In the final minutes of the game, defender Mustafa Mujuzi received marching orders and KCCA finished the game with 10 men.

The sides will meet again on Saturday, September 30, 2023, to decide who makes it to the group stages.
