KCCA extended their impressive run with yet another convincing victory against Busoga United in the Uganda Premier League encounter played on Thursday.

In the game played under the lights at MTN Omondi Stadium, KCCA secured a 4-1 victory in the one-sided encounter.

Saidi Mayanja (brace), Arafat Usama and Filbert Obenchan scored for KCCA while Isaac Isinde pulled back one for the visitors.

KCCA's skipper Obenchan nodded the hosts ahead as he guided Mayanja's corner kick into the back of the net.

Mayanja doubled KCCA's lead with a touch that completed a well-worked team goal though Etienne Katenga set up the agile midfielder.

At halftime, KCCA had a comfortable 2-0 lead and it looked like a game done on the day.

Mayanja completed a personal brace with a simple touch to convert Usama's cutback five minutes into the second half.

Usama extended the hosts lead to four. The quick forward's high press paid off as he forced Busoga's backline into an error before he slotted the ball home.

Isinde later found Busoga United's consolation after KCCA failed to clear their lines.

The victory sends KCCA into the seventh position on the log with 32 points while Busoga United are 14th with 17 points.

Next on the menu, KCCA will be on the road to face Gaddafi on Friday, April 5 while Busoga will host SC Villa two days later.
