KCCA was held by Bright Stars in a two-all draw in the Uganda Premier League encounter played at Kavumba Recreational Grounds on Thursday.
It was a tight but thrilling game from two sides that took the game to each other in front of a great crowd.
Noordin Bunjon fired the hosts ahead in the 30th minute after continuous attacks from the telepathic Bright Stars’ frontline.
Five minutes later, Haruna Lukwago levelled matters thanks to Ettiene Katenga’s brilliant delivery.
Ashraf Mulindi regained the hosts’ lead with a great finish in the 47th minute after being set up by Shafick Kakande who asked KCCA’s backline all the necessary questions.
With 15 minutes to play, Muhammad Shaban levelled matters with a powerful header from close range.
Shaban stretched his goal tally to 15 goals, two ahead of Nelson Senkatuka.
KCCA move sixth on the log with 39 points while Bright Stars are 10th with 30 points.
