KCCA will play host UPDF in a Uganda Premier League encounter at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo on Tuesday, May 7.

The Kasasiro Boys have gone seven games without a loss and will be seeking to extend their unbeaten streak to eight games as they face troubled UPDF.

In the pre-match conference, KCCA head coach Abdallah Mubiru revealed how proud he is of his charges for the fight but also added that the club has bigger ambitions.

“I am amused and proud of the work that has been done by everyone at the club to see that we get positive results,” he said.

“We are still far from where we deserve to be but ai believe we shall get there if we keep doing things the right way. The signs are there and the club is supporting the journey,” he added.

“I hope the management of the club will be patient and support us through so that we achieve our target.”

Mubiru also noted that it’s not easy facing a team like UPDF that is fighting to get out of relegation.

“Such teams that are fighting for survival are very tough to face. They will come and throw everything on the ground so we need to be ready and fight back for glory.”
