The rumours about Muhammad Shaban finally come to an end as he confirms his departure from Uganda Premier League side KCCA FC.

Shaban confirmed his departure in an emotional letter that addressed the club management, fans, and the football fraternity.

"It's with a heavy heart that I announce my departure from this incredible club after two unforgettable seasons," he wrote down.

"The memories made, victories celebrated, and bonds formed will forever hold a special place in my heart. I am grateful for the unwavering support, passion, and dedication shown by every one of you," he added.

"As I embark on a new chapter in my career, I want to express my sincerest gratitude to the fans who have stood by me through thick and thin. Your cheers, chants, and unwavering support have motivated me to give my all on the field."

"Although my time at the club may be coming to an end, I promise to keep you informed of my next move. Your continued support means the world to me, and I look forward to sharing the next step of this journey with you," he concluded.

Shaban was the top scorer of the recent campaign with 17 goals, thus guiding KCCA to the fifth position on the log.

Shaban has previously played for Onduparaka, KCCA FC, Raja Casablanca and Vipers. Currently, he is on the radar for several clubs, including Young Africans and Gor Mahia.
