  • Maroons vs BUL – 5:00 PM
  • Vipers SC vs NEC FC – 8:00 PM

The 2024/25 FUFA Super 8 tournament will get underway at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende on Friday, August 8, 2024.

In the opening game of this year’s edition, the defending champions BUL will lock horns with Maroons tomorrow at 5:00 PM.

Speaking during the pre-game press conference, BUL head coach Bogere Abbey Kikomeko revealed his troops are ready to leave everything on the field of play as they attempt to defend their title.

“We are the defending champions of this tournament. We won it last season after beating URA FC. This time around, it’s going to be a different tournament because we are going to play on a home and away basis,” Kikomeko shared.

“We are prepared since we have been training for quite a number of weeks. The players are ready to defend the title. We are going wholeheartedly to ensure that we get a win from Maroons.” he added.

According to the gaffer, the boys are in good shape and Douglas Muganga is the only player who is not available for Maroons’ clash due to a long-term injury.

On the same day, Vipers SC will take on NEC FC in the day’s second game which will be played under floodlights on the green.
