Result: SC Villa 2-0 Maroons

SC Villa secured a 2-0 victory against Maroons in the FUFA Super Eight classification game on Saturday at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

The victory against the Prison Wardens meant that SC Villa finished the tournament seventh while the former took the eighth position.

Francis Onekalit and Patrick Kakande were on target as SC Villa claimed bragging rights in a thrilling encounter.

Onekalit opened his account as he got to the end of Najib Yiga's delivery to give Villa an early lead into the game.

Quick-footed forward, Kakande doubled SC Villa's lead with six minutes left to end the first half.

Ten minutes into the second half, Onekalit had a genuine chance to extend Villa's lead, but the attempt went inches above the frame.

Maroons handed debuts to Ambrose Kiirya and Bashir Mutanda, who struggled to impress on the day.
