Jane Asinde was part of the JKL Lady Dolphins that clinched the 2024 National Basketball League title after seeing off UCU Lady Canons.
It was a sweet championship for Asinde since it was her maiden local league title despite being the fourth for the club.
In the after math of the championship, the Gazelles captain hinted on her next destination being China where she expected to play her first professional stint.
“I am going to play my first pro basketball for a club in China,” Asinde told CK Sports.
“I cannot say it all now but am excited about the new venture and I cannot wait to get going,” she added.
Asinde has previously played at USA based UTEP Women’s basketball team before returning home to help the Lady Dolphins defend their title.
Abby Priscilla and Mary Amaniyo will take the button from Asinde as they continue their stay at UTEP back in USA.
