Uganda Premier League | Fixture
- BUL vs Bright Stars - 4pm
- Wakiso Giants vs Express - 4pm
- KCCA vs Maroons - 7pm
BUL is set to take on troubled Bright Stars in the Uganda Premier League encounter at Lugazi Stadium, Najjembe on Thursday.
BUL is desperate to get the first win at their new ground after sharing spoils with KCCA and falling to Mbarara City in the two games played at home thus far.
The oil manufacturers come into this game on a positive note having collected two away wins in the previous outings as they managed to edge URA before seeing off Kitara.
BUL head coach Abbey Kikomeko believes that the winning streak created in the last two games will give them the boast to end the poor run at home.
"We are prepared to correct our home woes. We’ve built momentum from our last two away wins and are ready for the fight," Kikomeko said.
In the previous campaign, BUL managed to collect victories home and away in this fixture. They edged Bright Stars 1-0 at Kavumba and 2-1 at home.
On the other hand, Bright Stars have started the campaign on a bad note. They are still winless in six games with three draws and three losses.
The poor run has found them languishing at the bottom of the log with three points in six games played.
