Uganda Premier League side Kitara find themselves in 14th position with four points out of the possible 28.
The Royals have suffered five defeats in seven league games, which is very far from what they managed in the previous campaign before finishing fourth.
Kitara head coach Wasswa Bbosa is confident that after working on a few things, the team will return to winning ways.
"We have no reason to panic. We are step by step handling the few challenges on the pitch and sure the team can sort this out," he said.
"We have not played anywhere close to what we are capable of playing. We are working hard to address some of the grey areas in our training," he added.
"Our job is to ensure that the players keep their belief and this is the most important thing. We have got over twenty games left to play and got work together and stick to the plan."
Wasswa Bbosa replaced Brian Ssenyondo as the club seeks to put an end to the poor and devastating run.
Kitara' first game under Bbosa ended 2-0 in favour of URA, causing more pain and debate to the Royals.
Kitara has a chance to bounce back into winning ways as they visit Bright Stars at Kavumba Recreation Ground in Wakiso on Friday, November 8.
