Uganda Premier League | Result

URA secured a 1-0 victory against Police in the Uganda Premier League encounter at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo on Tuesday.

URA came close to taking the lead as George Masembe curled the freekick wide of the frame in the 21st minute.

Godfrey Ssekibengo's weak long-distance attempt in the 35th minute was calmly collected as the hosts kept knocking on the door.

Goalkeeper Rogers Omedwa almost made a howler in the 42nd minute before he brought Isaac Ogwang's freekick to safety.

Bruno Bunyanga came close with a diving header, but the powerful effort went wide in the 79th minute.

Ssemujju finally broke the deadlock in the 81st minute to place the Tax Collectors in the driving seat.

The victory takes URA to the fifth position with 24 points, while the Police lie 10th with 18 points after 15 games.
