Makerere University was held by Kawempe Muslim in a goalless draw during the FUFA Women's Super League on Saturday.
Both sides took the ball to each other but were not sharp enough in the final third of the pitch.
After the goalless draw, Kawempe Muslim head coach Ayub Khalifa said that the league is getting more competitive and the teams have greatly improved.
"The game has greatly improved. There is no weak team. So we need to work even harder," the gaffer said.
"I have hope that we shall improve because that's our target each time we go to the training ground," he added.
According to Khalifa, Jovia Nakagolo and Mable Adong, Kawempe Muslim's new signings had a great debut.
After picking a point, Kawempe Muslim lies second with 25 points while Makerere University is seventh with 14 points.
