Rwanda's Police Volleyball Club secured a commanding 3-0 victory over Nemostars in the CAVB Zone V Volleyball Club Championship match at Lugogo Indoor Arena on Thursday.
The defending champions showcased their dominance, outclassing Nemostars in a well-orchestrated performance.
Police set the tone early, limiting Nemostars to just 15 points in the opening set.
Nemostars struggled with their serves, giving away six crucial points from service errors, making it easier for Police to capitalize.

Though the home side improved their service game in the second set though they failed to contain Matheus Bettim’s powerful attacks and eventually lost by five points.
In the final set, George Aporu attempted to break through Police’s solid defence but the Rwandan side was well-prepared to neutralize the experienced receiver-attacker.
On the second day of the championship, Nemostars will face Burundi’s Rukinzo while Police will take on Jeshi Stars.
