Brenda Munyana scored the lone goal as Uganda Martyrs edged She Corporates 1-0 in the FUFA Women's Super League on Sunday.

In a match played at Kyabazinga Stadium, Bugembe, She Corporates dominated possession but failed to capitalize on their chances.

Whisper Alomo came close to giving the hosts the lead just before halftime, but Uganda Martyrs' goalkeeper Sharon Kaidu pulled off a brilliant save.

Ronah Nantege also struck the woodwork as She Corporates continued to push forward in search of a goal.

However, Uganda Martyrs found the breakthrough in the 72nd minute when Munyana pounced on a rebound and tapped home after She Corporates failed to clear their lines.

Following the victory, Uganda Martyrs moved up to fifth place with 19 points, while She Corporates sit ninth with 15 points.
